Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Notice in verse 5, it says "the way", not "the ways". This verse says Jesus is the one and only way to go the the Father in heaven. Doing good works will not get you there. Your Mother's or Grandmother's experience with the Lord will not get you there. Your membership in any church or any organization will not get you there. Look at Acts 4:10-12, 10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Jesus is the one and only way to get to heaven.
I Know I Am Going to Heaven, Do You? I am going to heaven when I die and know it.I dont hope I am, I KNOW I am.how? The Bible tells me so. 1 John 5:13 says, These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may KNOW that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. Do you only hope you are going to heaven? Do you want to know for sure you are? In your own simple way pray this short prayer asking Jesus to save you now: Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and I need your salvation. I am so sorry for my sins and ask you to forgive me. I know and believe that you died for me and rose from the grave and I ask you to save me now. I invite you into my heart, right now, and I want to know for sure I will go to heaven when I die. Thank you for saving my soul. If you prayed that prayer and really meant it, the Bible says you are saved and you now know you are going to heaven.
