Using Scribd for posting documents to a wiki or webpage

Regardless of whichever word processor you use (Pages, Word, OpenOffice, etc.), save
the document in a place you can easily access. (Such as the desktop).

Go to www.scribd.com....you must join in order to upload a document.

Hit the Upload button and navigate to your document...


Once the upload finishes, click on the document to view it in Scribd

Your uploaded document should now look like this below..note the “Share &
Embed” feature..

Click on “Share & Embed”...and look for the Embed code. Click ONCE on the code and
then click on “Copy”

Finally, back in Wikispaces, choose the class page you want to upload to (in this
example, I chose “Crime”.

In the Crime page, I then click on EDIT..

Using the Editor Bar, I use the Widget


button:
The Widget you are interested in is Documents:

Choose Document, then choose Scribd..

The Scribd text embed box will open...PASTE your embed code from Scribd here.
Finally, click SAVE and PREVIEW to see how it will look in the Wiki....
