RESOLUTION DECLARING THE NECESSITY OF PROVIDING FOR
CONTROL OF BLIGHT AND DISEASE OF SHADE TREES
WHEREAS, Council for the Village of Greenhills has adopted Resolution 2014-17-F on July 22, 2014,
declaring the necessity to proide for control of !light and disease of shade trees "ithin the pu!lic
right-of-"ay and for planting, #aintaining, tri##ing and re#oing shade trees$ and
WHEREAS, Council for the Village of Greenhills has adopted Resolution 2014-2%-F on &ugust 2%, 2014,
deter#ining to proceed "ith the i#proe#ents in accordance "ith Resolution 2014-17-F'
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, (y the Council of the Village of Greenhills, )hio'
SECTION 1.
*he o"ners of all lands !enefited !y the i#proe#ents descri!ed in Resolution 2014-17-F shall !e
assessed at the rate of fifty cents +,'-0. per front foot, e/cept corner lots "hich shall !e assessed at seenty-fie
percent +7-0. of total lot frontage at the rate of fifty cents +,'-0. per front foot, to a #a/i#u# of ,%0'00 annually
per single-fa#ily residence, for the years 201-, 201%, 2017, 2011, 2012, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 for that
portion of the total costs of said i#proe#ents as the sa#e "ere esti#ated in Resolution 2014-17-F, said
assess#ents not e/ceeding any statutory li#itations'
SECTION 2.
4uch assess#ents shall !e paya!le as proided in Resolution 2014-2%-F and shall !e final upon the
adoption hereof'
SECTION 3.
*his resolution shall !e filed "ith the Cler5 of Council for Greenhills and shall !e aaila!le for pu!lic
inspection'
SECTION 4.
*he Cler5 of this Council is authori6ed and directed to cause notice of the passage of this resolution to !e
pu!lished once in a ne"spaper of general circulation in said Village as re7uired !y la"'
SECTION 5.
*he Cler5 of this Council is authori6ed and directed to 5eep said assess#ents on file in her office for so
long as any of the# re#ain unpaid'
SECTION 6.
*he Cler5 of this Council is authori6ed and directed to cause notice of the ley of the assess#ents herein
proided for to !e filed "ith the County &uditor "ithin seen +7. days after the passage of this resolution'
SECTION 7.
*his resolution shall ta5e effect and !e in full force fro# and after its passage'
