Dear Mr Doyle,

I am writing to thank you for a most enjoyable stay at your most unique
hotel. The setting was nothing less than outstandingly beautiful, and the
remoteness made me feel at peace with my inner self. The dusty track
approaching your fine establishment gave me a sense of nostalgia, as I
pictured myself in a spaghetti western of old. utch and !undance" here I
come#
It always unnerves me to see such perfect symmetry in the design and
architecture of buildings. Thankfully there was none of that at the !hamrock.
The well defined angles of the hotel reminded me of a broken arm that has
been badly reset. This I felt, added to the sense of despair the hotel has known
in the past, and perhaps become accustomed to$ a sense that despite all odds, it
%I&& continue to welcome visitors through its humble door, because that's
what the !hamrock does. (n ethos that echoes through the old bilious tinted
walls, down to the nursing chicken, who was trusting enough to feed her
brood upon my chest whilst I slept.
(nd what a sleep) I thought of the princess who slept upon *+
mattresses only to be woken by a solid round pea, digging into her " oh so
delicate skin. If that were the case for me, why, then surely I would be royal
indeed, The couch crunched and creaked at my every turn, and the soft smell
of musty fabric gently coa-ed me into deep sleep.
