Objectives:

To study the impact of imprudent disposal of toxic wastes, also know the future implications of the same
To spread awareness about the govt. norms that have been established to ensure proper disposal
To understand how we can bring upon changes at individual and societal level to ensure proper waste
disposal and prevent society from any further damages

Tentative outcomes and impact
- Hazardous wastes can be classified broadly into 3 groups based on the way of disposal:
recyclable (having potential for recovery. Eg., used oil), incinerable (organic wastes like solvents
and tar) and land disposable (neither recyclable nor incinerable). Based on this classification,
there are methods which
- Another classification based on their characteristic- chemical, radioactive, bio-waste- based on
which disposal differs
- Rules the govt. has imposed for hazardous waste disposal and dumping from foreign countries.
- Toxic wastes created at household level and their disposal
