Then divides class
into groups of 3.
Each student creates
an equation on a piece
of paper that is non-
proportional linear
such as y = 2x +5 on a
piece of paper.
Students then pass the
piece of paper to the
next person, who
creates a table with 5
ordered pairs using
the equation handed to
them. After they have
completed the tables,
they pass papers again
and each student plots
the points and draws a
line connecting the
points.
