In the Beginning

1. In the beginning before the worlds dawn
There was nothing but darkness, nothing but God
Then God the Creator said, Let there be light
The light was called day and darkness becae the night
!. Then God looked u"on the world, di#ided it in two
$bo#e was the sky, below the ocean blue
The sky to gi#e air, the sky to bring light
The ocean for water, water the gi#er of life
God made the world (x-x), and saw that it was good (x-x),
God made the mountains and the seas
God made the world (x-x), and saw that it was good (x-x),
God made the world for you and for me
%. Then God said unto the world, let there be land
$nd u"on this fertile land, let there be "lants
The fruits and the flowers, the grass and the trees
&ro the tallest gu down to the sallest seed
'. Then God ade the sun, to shine so bright
The stars and the oon to light u" the night
The sun to gi#e warth, to rule o#er day
The oon for the night, in darkness to show us the way

To care for the anials, to care for all of the land
God made the world (x-x), and saw that it was good (x-x),
God made the mountains and the seas

God made the world for you and for me
,. Then God looked u"on the earth and saw that it was
done
$nd saw that it was good and rested in the sun
$nd blessed all the world, blessed it for e#eryone
$nd that was the way, the way that the world was begun
