Critically read Chapter 4, Sections 1 6 before attempting Problem Set #4.
The problems in this Problem Set are similar to the types of things you will need in your
laboratory work; you should note similar calculations being required of you in CHEM
2672 labs. Try to view these problems in a very practical light they are not just rote
problems to be plugged and chugged; for each problem, see if you can identify a parallel
problem from one of your labs this semester. In addition, make sure you understand
and can justify WHY you are making the choices you do to answer each question; Why
did you choose test A rather than test B for example?
All of the questions in this problem set are from Harris, D.C., Quantitative Chemical
Analysis, 8e.
