Homework is when things get worse! We got homework in the first day of
school!! Our teacher can give us 75mins of homework and so know that there

Dear Jude from the past

Dear Jude from the past,
This is you from the future! I am going to tell me about Grade 5. This is a warning so
be ready dont freak out!
First of all you are older now and you are at the top of the school. You are not going
to be treated the same way as in Grade 4. Everybody will treat you like if youre the
oldest one in the world. Little kids will start looking up to you so behave! Dont freak
out when you come on the first day of school.
The next thing is teachers. They keep looking at you and they try to see if youre
behaving. Teachers yell more when youre in Grade 5 because we should know better
and everyone looks at you. You will have new teachers for art, music, homeroom, vice
principal and Arabic. Don't worry the teachers are still nice to me because I always
behave.
This thing Im going to tell you is annoying! If you dont push in your chair for a minute
you will have to push in your chair during recess time 25 times after that 50 times and
it keeps going on! Good luck.
I'm sure you remember that when you were in Grade 4 you could go down by
yourself, after school during dismissal time. In Grade 5 we all have to go down
together and our parents pick us up from the field.
I forgot to tell you that you have allot of homework in Grade 5 even from the first day
of school but we don't have any homework on the weekends so that's a good thing.
Our teacher can give us 75 minutes of homework each day.
But still enjoy Grade 5 just like all the other years. Don't forget about how everyone
will treat you and about how teachers will change and about pushing in your chairs I
want to make sure your ready for Grade 5 so listen to everything I told you. But and
about dismissal and homework. I wish me good luck. have fun with the rest of the
year[hopefully].

Dear Ken in the past
This is you in the future! I am talking about Gr5 is
how if going to be.
First of all this is your last year of school.
Second of all you probably know some students are not in
Gr5.
Third you will have a new teacher of course.
Fourth some rules are probably scary and streak.
Fifth homework is probably easy in grade four but in
grade 5 is probably lots of homework.
Sixth the lessons is a bit easy and hard.
And some classrooms are moved like music and Gr4
classroom.
And dude the schedule is a bit new and AWESOME.
Ninth there will be a new teacher assistant in Gr5.
And the last of all there will be only one celebration.

Dear, Isabella in the past,
This is you from the future! Why would I be writing to me in
the past? So you (I) are prepared for whats coming your way in
the first month of school!
First of all Im going to be in a new school. This school is so
different from ours. Its very small but nice. Theres a Gym, a
Music class, Arabic class, a Lunch room, a Library, an Art class,
and a Computer lab. The school has a playground and a soccer
field.
Next is homework, this is the bad part when (I) get to GR5 its
very hard the teachers give you more homework and its hard.
You have to study a lot in order to know your homework.
Third teachers get stressed, you say a word your out of the
classroom. Miss, Keenan will get your butt going she is very
funny but mean she will kick you out. She will say to stay outside
until she says to come. Dont do anything stupid at school cause
then you will have to repair it.

School work:
The school work in Gr4 was easier and the school work in Gr5 is harder.
Reading books:
The reading books didnt have too many pages.
IPad:
In Gr4 iPad was allowed in recess Gr5 iPad is not allowed.

I am telling you about my old school I want you to know the difference. So I
feel that I am happy because I have new friends. In the old school I have my old
friends but I miss them.
I like the other school because there is a swimming pool, but I like GWA
because there is a football field. I like GWA because we are playing with grade
four and grade three In AYS we have only one grade is playing.
In GWA we have two recess. But in AYS we have only one recess .In GWA we
have too many balls but in AYS we have only one ball in the whole school.
In AYS there are so many problems but in this school there are no problems
because there is a good teacher and a good principal

First of all, your work is going to be harder Grade 4! For example, you will
have more math, more U.O.I. and more literature. But, in a good way,
these will make you a better person.
There will be more expectations than last year, because everyone will expect
you to get way higher Grades, and never do anything wrong in school.
You will also have a different teacher. Since youre in a higher grade, the
teacher will be stricter!
You will also have more homework. Like if you didnt have homework every
day in other grades, then get ready to have way, way more homework!

Responsibility is good because little kids look up to you.
You need to make sure you behave because you will get

national anthem you will stay for recess.
Be advised, there will be no Koreans at all. There will be a lot more
Muslim classmates than you expect. So when the Muslims go for
