Dear Sir or Madame
The nature of my Ontario College Diploma has prepared me for this
position. It involved a great deal of independent research, requiring initiative, self-
motivation, and a wide range of specialized skills. For one course WELD 1000, an
understanding of the welding industry was essential. I found this subject really
intriguing.
I am a fast, accurate and efficient welder with a keen eye for detail and I
would be very grateful for an opportunity to progress as a welder. I am able to take
on responsibility of the position immediately, and have the enthusiasm and
determination to ensure I make a success out of it.
