Kamlesh:

- Started discussing about rules with kids. Kids deciding the class values.
- Kids came up with values such as being grateful, gratitude, curious, kindness, honesty, seva.
- Pushing the kids to define these values.
Shailesh: (no obj, no agenda, kids shouting out of turns, no consequences, tracker)
- Just imagine Coldplay-The scientist being played in the class after the lunch time. Amazing
Zen zone time for students to relax after the lunch while Shailesh prepared the board for the
next session.
- Print Rich Classroom made the class room environment extremely safe for the students. Th
charts on the wall displayed:
1) Students pics on the wall along with their birthdays placed on the wall.
2) What they want to become in life.
3) Pictures of student activities.
4) Pictures of various managers in the class
- Access and Exposure- In his Talk Thursday lesson his kids watched a movie on Burj Khalifa.
Sarah:
- Basics set in the classroom
- Regular usage of Consequences- Amazing and easy way to give + and consequences
- All students in their seats and on task even without her in lass
- Used a video to reinforce the concept of multiplication. A concept that she has taught a day
before.
- Video to teach body parts. [might have given a sheet to the students to keep identifying the
parts, to engagae students during the video]
- Cold calling the students

Rahul [No prints, Uses a little rough language,
- Has a wonderful mixture of Fun and Strictness in the class. The math class was one of the
most fun classes I have seen.
- Quickly revised the concepts taught in class 5 in an interesting way and switched to his grade
stuff.
- All students paying attention and on task. Rahul had a wonderful bonding with the kids and
it was evident in how they knew when to have fun and when to listen to him.
- Giving real life analogies to make them understand the concepts of math.
Ankit-
- Took lead to teach another class of his class and took a class to teach values to kids. The
discussion was very honest.
- Used the medium of PPT to teach the kids about the Gram Panchayat. Also the class showed
independence as a value as a girl read the entire chapter and the Ankit explained that
chapter to everyone.
