Experience is the best Teacher

If I were to ask of what kind of teacher will I be in the near

future I am proud to say that I am an embodiment of a progressivist
teacher. A teacher who cater the experience of the students as a
springboard to bring the best in them. It is the most important
pedagogical point because it surely helps the students to be familiar
with the lesson by giving their own freedom to search knowledge. It
will help the students to be ready on facing the next challenges
incorporating the importance of the on hand experiences related to
their lives. It will be easy for them to go on because they already
have mastered the subjects that really give an impact in their
totality producing more productive individuals that would be
beneficial for our next generation.
Just like what John Dewey quoted Education is not preparation
for life; education is life itself. As a teacher I believe that
letting them experience the problem and search for the answer with my
guidance will truly help them to prepare the best in them. Relying on
the book is just a supplement but facilitating them in their path and
scaffolding the ideas that they have is the essence of teaching not
the subject itself but teaching beyond what they see, feel, and
experience.
