Should be a great week in College Football with several ranked teams squaring off including

some HUGE games in the SEC. Already saw an upset Thursday night with the Ducks falling to
Arizona and we could be in for a few more on Saturday. Coming off a good week last week with
only a few games selected, Im looking for my breakout week and this could be it.
Comments/Suggestions always greatly appreciated. Good luck everyone!
Locks:
Wisconsin(-8) over Northwestern
-Sconnies head on the road where Northwestern has already lost earlier in the year in
disappointing performances to Cal and Northern Illinois. Wisconsin is better by far than both of
those teams and should cover the 8 points without a problem.
Baylor(-16) over Texas
-Texas has only put up more than 20 points once and that was against a week opponent in
Kansas. Baylors offense should get going early and often and run away with this game in the
second half. I see the Bears winning this game by at least 24-30 points.
South Carolina(-4) over Kentucky
-The Cocks have underachieved thus far but put up a good performance against Georgia earlier
this year. I think Spurrier gets them going in this one and they get back on track in the SEC.
Oklahoma(-4.5) over TCU
-A lot of experts like the Horned Frogs pulling off an upset in this one, but I think they are
overlooking the Sooners ability to win tough road games. They already took care of West
Virginia in a tough environment and you can bet Bob Stoops wont have them looking ahead to
the Red River Shootout next week vs Texas which is usually always competitive no matter the
ranks of each time. The Sooners focus here and pull another tough road game strengthening
their case as a Championship contender.
Other Picks I like:
Michigan St(-7) over Nebraska
-Spartans had the Ducks beat for a half and need to make a statement in this one showing their
the team to beat in the Big Ten. Nebraska has been relatively untested and way too
inconsistent to place any confidence in them covering the 7 pts here. I like Sparty to come up
big here and get a signature win.
Auburn(-7.5) over LSU
-Tough one to take here as my heart usually lies with the Tigers. I was just extremely
disappointed in the performance they put up at home against Miss St. and dont think they
have the fight in them like the teams of old. Also, QB shake-up leaves a lot of uncertainty and
Auburn will be fired up at home. Was thinking about teasing this one down to a pick em for
Auburn, but I think if LSU stays close in this one they will win outright.
CGriffs Teaser Pleaser(3 team 6.5 pt. teaser at +120)
Utah(+19.5) over UCLA
West Virginia(-21.5) over Kansas
Ole Miss(+12.5) over Alabama
-Trap game for UCLA as they host Oregon next week and Utah is a lot better than people think. I
think UCLA pulls this one out, especially if Hundley suits up which I think he will, but Utah will
cover plenty with the tease.
-West Virginia hosts Kansas who just fired their coach and might be one of the worst teams in
college football. WVU should put this one away in the first half.
-This is a show me game for Ole Miss and you can bet the fans will be fired up for this one.
Alabama isnt the program of old and will be rattled here in a raucous environment. I think the
Rebels take this one down to the wire even if Bama pulls it out in the end.
Stay Away!!!!
Texas A&M(+2) over Miss. St
-Dont know enough about these teams to bet on this one although its a huge game for the
conference. Both teams have a tough two week stretch(A&M vs Ole Miss, Miss St. vs Auburn
next week) which makes this game even more unpredictable. Just going to have to enjoy this
early morning game as it kicks off what should be a great day of college football.
Stanford(-2) over Notre Dame
-Yet another game which is virtually a pick em and one that I just want to enjoy watching. Plus
my allegiance lies with Notre Dame and I usually get into trouble placing wagers on them in big
games. I actually think Stanford might take this one but as always these games are usually
classics. Education is the real winner in this one (covering the spread!!!!)
