To confgure the Lotus Notes client

1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Lotus

Applications, and then click Lotus Notes. Because this is
the frst time you have run Lotus Notes, the Lotus Notes Client
Confguration Wizard starts. Click Next.
. !n the Welcome page, click Next.
". When prompted, type in the name you set up #or the user $%
#or &'change Connector #or Lotus Notes and enter the name o#
the user(s home)mail %omino server. *elect I want to
connect to a Domino server. Click Next.
+. !n the How Do You Want to Connect to a Domino
Server page, select Set up a connection to a local area
network (LAN, and then click Next.
,. !n the Domino Server Network In!ormation page, in
the Domino server name te't -o', type the name o# the
Lotus %omino server that .ill act as a -ridgehead -et.een
&'change *erver //" and Lotus %omino. $n the Please
provi"e speci#c network in!ormation to $elp locate t$is
server dialog -o', select %CP&IP. $n the Server
a""ress feld, type the hostname or $0 address #or the
%omino server listed a-ove, and then click Next. This server
should -e the one that you confgured earlier.

2. Type in the pass.ord #or the user $% fle.
3. $# prompted to set up $nstant 4essaging, clear the Setup
instant messaging check -o', and then click Next.
5. !n the A""itional Services page, click Next.

setup is complete. Click )*.
11. 7eri#y that the selected location is set to !8ce 9should
-e displayed in the lo.er:right corner o# the Notes client;. $#
not, select the name displayed there and then choose the
!8ce location.
