I have a Procedure qualfcaton record qualfed to ASME 1X for 8nch dam groove weld, ppe 6G poston
ThK 10mm, Materal API 5L X65 to API 5L X65. P1 Group-2 to P1 group-2

Can I develope weld procedures from the PQR for weldng the followng;
(notch toughness requrement apples)

1. 8nch dam, groove weld, ppe 5G poston.
ThK 10mm, Materal API 5L X52 to API 5L X52. P1 Group-1 to P1-Group-1

2. 8nch dam, groove weld, ppe to flange, 5G poston
ThK 10mm, Materal API 5L X52 ppe to ASTM A105 flange. P1 Group-1 to P1 Group-2

Can you please explan your answer as I have a consern wth the P numbers..

If the PQR was for a P1 Group 2 to a P1 Group 1 materal would ths allow me to develope WPS for
weldng
any of the prevosly mentoned ppes n queston-1 and 2.
