Sphere of Expertise: Gill is a counselor at Wiltshire College Chippenham Campus, she helps students
with any problems they are having and allows them the time to talk to someone, and also provides
guidance and listens to what they have to say. Having seen Gill myself I know the style of talking that she
does, she listens to what you have to say and then comments on what she thinks is happening and gives
you advice on how to deal with certain situations.
Previous Media Experience?: Gill Has had previous media experience as she was one of the chosen
people at Chippenham Campus to interview when undertaking the welcome and interview day
interviews. Although she doesn't have experience with the type of interview I shall be doing therefore I
shall be talking her through it and explaining what I am going to be doing.
Potential Questions: 1. How many students on average do you help with bullying?
2. What is the worst thing that could happen to someone who is bullied?
3. What is the worst case of bullying you have seen/heard about?
4. As a counselor what do you do to help students who are being bullied?
5. Do you think it only happens to students/young people?
6. What are your personal views on bullying?
7. What would you define as bullying?
Potential Location/Shot set up: Location: TV studio media department, Wiltshire College Chippenham
Campus. I will also be filming in Gill's office as I need to get some action shots.
Shot set up: The shot set up I will be using is, three camera set up, the
first shot will be: A Close Up of Gill. The second shot will be: A Master Shot of both Gill and the
interviewer (myself). Then my final shot will be of myself asking the questions. I shall also be getting
shots of noddies and cutaways, and actions shots of Gill in her office.
Date/Time of Interview: This interview shall be taking place on Thursday 9th October at 12:45. I have
paired up with Chloe as she is interviewing the same person after I have finished my interview.
