Query Properties: General
A key date, which can be
required by time-
dependent characteristics,
attributes, and hierarchies
and their nodes for the
report display, can be
fixed or defined with a
variable request at
runtime.
You can change the
sequence of entry
variables.
In addition to the technical name of the query
definition and the InfoProvider that it is based
on, this tab page gives information about the
owner and the person who last changed the
query.

Display Options:

Adjust Formatting after
Refreshing
Ensures that the format is
automatically adapted to the
updated query data when the
query is refreshed.

Hide Repeated Key
Values
Only the first key or description is
displayed for each characteristic
and any additional identical keys
or descriptions are suppressed.

Display Scaling Factors
for Key Figures
Enables you to include any scaling
factors defined in the row or
column header (e.g., *100 EUR).
Display document links
Displays document links for InfoProvider data, master
data, and metadata.

Display Drag and Relate Links
Enables you to execute transactions from an SAP R/3
system or an external system from within the Enterprise
Portal.

Position
Defines the position
in which the results
area is displayed:
Bottom/Right,
Top/Left,
Bottom/Left, or
Top/Right.

Display of
+/- Signs
Determines how
negative values are
displayed: -

of Zero
Rows and
Columns
Determines how to
display zero values:
Display Zeros, Zeros

Documents
Displays an
existing
document or
creates or
imports a new
document (from
Microsoft Word,

and so on).
Release OLE DB for

the query are then
transferred since
the release of this
interface offers a
normalized method
for accessing BW
data using a
relevant front-end
presentation tool.

Use the Query Where-
Used List to determine all
workbooks which include
the query.

Deleting Query Objects
Note
In order to delete a query object, there must be at least one
query, structure, restricted key figure, or calculated key
figure.
Use the Delete button to
remove the query
definition from Query
Designer.
