    PLACI DIN BETON PENTRU PAVAJE

    1 GENERAL
    1.1. This standard refers to the concrete slabs used for pavements of sidewalks, platforms, halls, generally in
    places with pedestrians or small vehicles.
    1.2. The slabs are produced by mechanical pressing, being made up of a single layer of concrete with hard rock
    aggregates or of two layers of which the principle one from regular concrete and the wear one from hard rock
    aggregates.
    1.3. The slabs for pavements are produced either in the natural colour of their binding agent and of the
    aggregates, or colored.
    1.4. The colour is settled on order on the basis of an agreement between the parties.
    1.5. The force unit SI legal in Romania which is the Newton (N) was considered in this standard approximated
    to 1 N = 0.1 kgf.
    The exact transformation is 1 N = 1/9.80665 kgf
    2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
    2.1. Shapes and dimensions
    2.1.1. The dimensions and shapes of the slabs are indicated in table 1 and figures 1 . 6.
