on living and nonliving. Volunteers need to prepay by Oct. 15

so we can still get the group discount.

Crew Meeting: Collaboration and Competition
Writing: Nonfiction Chapter Books
Students will start writing books that teach
about a specific topic! This was a class favorite
last year!
Phonics:
-double letter spellings
Math: Understanding Subtraction
-fact families
-more subtraction stories
-unit test
Expedition: Plants
We learned about flower parts last week. Ask
your child about the flower stamen and pistil. We
will be watching our plants to see if they are
ready to pollinate this week. We might have to
wait until next week to pollinate.
Reading: Snap Shots
We will read a chapter as a whole class or the
students will read them in small groups. Then
they will answer comprehension questions.
