clothes, which gives my
audience a positive
representation.
How did you attract/address your
audience?
I used the content of my magazine to address my audience and older
students rather than children. I did this to make students reading my
magazine feel like they are being treaded like adults. I did this by:
1. using the 3 colour rule is make my magazine look more
professional.
2. My information was all about how you can either improve your life
style - whether it be health wise, or going to the latest gigs and
festivals and also how you can keep up with the latest gadgets my
example being the iPhone 6 without missing out.
All of these things help to make my magazine look more mature and
professional
What aspects of your work are you
pleased with and why?
Overall I am very pleased with my magazine. In particular I am
pleased with how my front cover has turned out, the change from my
model being in black and white and the background being in colour
really gives a nice affect and is almost a symbolism of how normal life
is made more colourful at college.
I am also happy with my mast head. The font is like an urban version
of old English which I find fits into the content of my magazine. I
made the font on Microsoft word and then cut it into Photoshop as I
wasnt happy with any of the fonts given on Photoshop.
What aspects of your work would you like
to improve?
If I were to do this project again, I would probably spend a little more
time on my contents page. I feel as if I wasnt very confident with the
software that was used.
Another improvement that could have been made is with my actual
image on my front cover. I feel as if, I couldve blended my model in
much better with the background giving it a more professional finish.
Instead I have left behind quite a distinctive line around him.
