There should only be one main idea.

Information about the setting?
Some salt and pepper? Has the writer included
some description of the setting or the characters
personality that help you picture the story?

The summary should only include the most important
events that relate to the problem and solution.
The problem and solution should be clear to the reader.

Closing Thoughts 1 2 3 4
The summary should close with some discussion around
the main idea.
Has the writer proven how the main idea relates to the
character or events? Have they left the reader something
to think about? Did you get a whoa feeling?
