ABSTRAK

Penyelidikan tindakan ini dijalankan bertujuan untuk menilai sejauh mana keberkesanan
prinsip latihan ansur maju untuk meningkatkan penguasaan teknik pukulan atas kepala
dalam permainan badminton dalam kalangan murid tahun 5. Subjek kajian terdiri
daripada 12 orang murid tahun 5 yang telah dikenalpasti lemah dalam melakukan teknik
pukulan atas kepala. Latihan ansur maju selama empat minggu di mana keseluruhan
teknik pelakuan pukulan atas kepala di pecahkan kepada bahagian-bahagian kecil,
yang turut melibatkan arah dan jarak dari dekat ke jauh, telah dipilih sebagai intervensi
bagi meningkatkan penguasan teknik pukulan atas kepala dalam permainan badminton.
Data dikumpulkan melalui pemerhatian dan forehand overhead test yang dijalankan
dalam ujian pra dan pasca bagi membuat penilaian dan perbandingan sejauh mana
penguasaan murid dalam melakukan pukulan atas kepala sebelum dan selepas
intervensi dilakukan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan peningkatan penguasan teknik
pukulan atas kepala dalam kalangan murid tahun 5. Purata jumlah peningkatan
penguasaan kemahiran ialah sebanyak 29 peratus daripada 35 peratus purata
penguasaan pada ujian pra kepada 64 peratus ketika ujian pasca. Melalui
perbandingan ini, dapat dibuat kesimpulan bahawa intervensi yang dijalankan iaitu
latihan ansur maju dapat meningkatkan penguasaan teknik pukulan atas kepala murid
tahun 5. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa latihan ansur maju berkesan dalam
meningkatkan penguasan teknik pukulan atas kepala dalam kalangan subjek.







ABSTRACT
This thesis document a research aimed at evaluating the level of effectiveness of the
principle of the increase progression to enhance the badminton players mastery level of
overhead stroke among the Standard Five students. A number of twelve Standard Five
students identified as being weak in the overhead stroke technique had been chosen as
the recipient of this research. A period of four weeks had been used to conduct the
principle of the increase progression in which the overall overhead stroke technique had
been divided into a few sub-parts involving the short distance and long distance
direction for the intervention purpose of increasing the mastery level of overhead stroke
technique in the game of badminton. All the data retrieved in this research had been
gathered and analyzed using the method of observation and forehand overhead test
conducted in a pre and post test to determine the assessment and comparison of the
changes that occurred on the overhead stroke technique of the badminton players after
the pre and post intervention process. The final finding of this data analysis shows an
increasing mastery level of the technique among the Standard Five students in which 29
out of the 35 percentage of the average achievement was obtained in the pre test while
a number of 64 percent of the average achievement in the post test retrieved. Through
this comparison, it can be concluded that the intervention process of the principle of the
increase progression is capable of increasing the mastery level of the overhead stroke
technique among the Standard Five students. This research produces an affirmative
finding that the principle of the increase progression is effective in increasing the
mastery level of the overhead stroke technique among the recipient.
