Questions:

1. There were 230 seeds in my pepper plant in the beginning.
2. There were 2,798,410,000 alive only after ve years only after each plant produces one
pepper plant that has 230 seeds in it.
3. My graph describes the growth of my pepper plants starting with only 230 seeds. It was
amazing to watch the numbers grow over ve years and project how many pepper plants it
would develop into.
4. Five environmental factors that might limit population growth would be drought, temperature,
ooding, low food supply, and overpopulation.
5. I believe if a population was subject to any variety of these environmental factors for a long
time period you would see a change. With temperatures changing in our global world, this
can cause many problems with indigenous species to parts of the world. We have plants,
animals, and other wildlife that ourishes in certain climates and if that changed, you would
see certain populations die out or move to other areas. Low food supply can cause species
to die out or move areas in search of food they can eat. When we have something like
ooding occur, there can be a variety of different outcomes that can hurt the environment or
improve it over time. For example, when oods recede, it can leave behind hazardous
materials like debris, pesticides, and fuel that can contaminate water, cause diseases, and
grow mold on structures. In another example, it can provide a soil full of nutrients that is

great for crops to grow and agriculture. So you can see populations struggle and over time
grow from this particular environmental factor.
