LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION

GUIBAWAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is located at the top of a hill in one of the

sitios of barangay Bucalan. Topographically situated in a 2,455 square meter lot
donated by Mr. & Mrs. Maximo Bacurnay Jr. It is composed of 3 regular teachers and
1 contractual kinder teacher. It is headed by a Teacher In Charge. It has a total
population of 181 pupils in 3 multi grade classes and 1 kindergarten class.
During this school year, the school marks a complete elementary school by
opening this year the grade six class to cater the enrolment of the previous years. It
variance in terms of enrolment compared last year is 34.
The school has 1unit of 2CL TEEP building which is a learning nest of 2 multi
grade classes. Due to the shortage of classrooms, the grades 5 & 6 as well as the
kindergarten class is using the makeshift rooms just to have four corners to
withstands during rainy days and protect them against suns heat.
The school utilizing the basketball court of the community for playing and
school monthly activities and even closing programs.
