There are two different types of research which are pure research and applied research.

The Pure
research is about understanding the various processes between a memory, a learning, and a knowledge.
It is about finding information simply to find information. While it may become applied later, it is not
seek out for its application to current events. With Pure research, researchers choose to research topic
of interest to them.
The Applied research at the other hand is about dealing with practical problems faced in our world
today. Thus, before we want to do a research, we must know deeply the differentiation between these
two types of research as it will help us to decide exactly what type of a research we want to conduct.
In my opinion, the basic research is neither more nor less important than applied research as we try to
settle down current problems we are facing today at this real world.
