Sub : Guide lines for the installation of Pillar Box

The pillar box are to be installed in the field as per the following
guidelines:-

1. Cemented plinth, constructed with bricks, duly plastered embedded one feet
below the ground level and with 3 feet clear height from the ground level
should be prepared for the installation of pillar box.
2. Double earthing of the pillar-box should be provided similar to the distribution
transformer i.e. with the help of GI strip of size 25x4mm.
3. Pillar-box should be installed in shade, preferably under a tree.
4. For the purpose of energy auditing an incoming LT CT operated 3 phase 4
wire meter should be provided for each pillar box.
5. Photograph showing the pillar box and its installation is enclosed herewith
for your reference.
