3. In order for a swimmer can move it requires a source of encouragement.

Source of
encouragement came from the thrust of water. According to Newton's laws, a repulsion (action)
produces thrust (reaction). When our bodies reject or push water backward through the hands and
feet of water will provide a reaction force in the opposite direction. It has also been observed that
approximately 80% of the repulsion force generated by a swimmer's hands rather than the feet.
4. The smaller the water surface and the faster we move the less water drag. Thus a swimmer must
minimize the surface area in the direction of motion of the body shape like a bullet.
5when we swim we would easily float if our body is parallel to the water surface. molecules in the
surface energy in the horizontal direction is greater than the energy of molecules in the fluid.. just
above the water molecules bind molecules horizontally and vertically downwards and not upwards.
Eg molecular energy calculations with functional density theory (DFT) indicate that a water molecule
that binds with fewer neighboring molecules (on the surface) has a greater energy than water
molecules below the surface. Therefore molecules on the surface binds more strongly with
neighboring molecules in the horizontal direction, forming a surface tension. A swimmer is thus
trying to maximize the area of the body that is parallel to the water surface. Because of the extent of
the human body at the top more than the bottom of a swimmer will attempt to puff up his chest to
body surface area in contact with the water surface gets larger so repulsive force surface tension
greater. This is why people are more easily float when the body parallel to the water surface.
6. buoyant force depends on the weight of the fluid displaced by our bodies. Weight of displaced
fluid is proportional to the density of the fluid. The more dense fluid density greater buoyant force
acting on our body that is why we are more easily floating in a sea of high salt levels and our bodies
feel lighter in the water.
