Biometric Attendance System

SOP
A. SETTING UP THE SYSTEM
1. Recording the fingerprint and basic information
of the employees into the system


B. CLOCKING IN / OUT
1. Clocking IN timings: 8.30 am to 8.45 am
2. Clocking Out timings:6.00 pm to 6.15 pm
3. When clocking in or out, place finger onto screen gently
with slight pressure. Finger should not be left on screen
longer than one second
4. Employees clocking in or out between the stated policy
times their attendance will be marked.



After placing finger, the recorder will announce the following:
"Thank You" the employee has successfully clocked
in/out.
"Place Again" finger could not be read, attempt again. If
recorder continues to misread, try another finger


5. Employee number and/or name should appear on the
screen after successful clock In


C. MISSED PUNCHES

1. Employees who do not clock in or out at the required time
shall do so as soon as possible and then notify the
respective person about the reason for not doing so.
2. Simply "forgetting" to clock in and out will not be a
legitimate excuse and may be cause for disciplinary actions
against the employee.
D. EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION
1. If the timekeeping equipment appears to be
malfunctioning (i.e. equipment is not or cannot be turned
on, recorders do not read any prints, etc.) the Chief on
duty shall be notified.
2. Employees should enter their in time in the register
provided
3. There shall be no attempt by any employee to repair any
equipment at any time
