Assignment B

The most influential person of Romania has impacted them Negatively and Positively.
President Traian Basescu (December 2004, ends final term December 14th 2014) to me was
the person who impacted Romania the most.
~ Negatively:
~He was bad with the press and would use inappropriate words describing the
journalists and so would his family members.
~On footage, they caught him hit or Push a 10 year old boy which lost him votes
during his campaign.
~ Positively:
~He was constantly trying to improve the relationship with Moldova but has increased
anti-Romania rhetoric from the communist government of Moldova.
~He expresses his belief that in the future Romania and Moldova will unite as 1 either
politically or in the framework in the EU.
~His victory was characterized in the media as Romanias Orange Revolution It was
given this name because of the reformists perceived victory over Ukraine during the same time
was called orange because orange was used by the winning Justice and Truth Alliance who
supports Basescu.
