ABC Releases Candidate Endorsements


Syracuse, NY The Empire State Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) today
announced endorsements in several Congressional as well as state Senate and Assembly races.

ABC is proud to support candidates who stand up for free enterprise and open competition, said
Brian Sampson, president of the Empire State Chapter of ABC. We endorse incumbents and
challengers who understand that the key to job creation and economic growth is to stop
burdensome policies like government-mandated use of project labor agreements (PLA) on public
work and to bring reform to the Scaffold Law.

ABC has endorsed candidates in nine New York Congressional races, 22 in the state Senate and 47 in
the Assembly. The full list of endorsed candidates as well as an incumbent scorecard for the New

the distinguished honor of being Champions of Free Enterprise.

New York needs more voices in Congress and the state Legislature who support fair and open
competition, added Sampson. The candidates who earned the ABC endorsement have shown the
character and commitment needed to make a difference. The members of ABC are pleased to
