Camp Chief Hector
Camp this year was a complete success! Perfect weather, great
accommodations, top drawer programing and the best kids this side of
the Rockies! We know you have already heard many stories and
adventures about camp. We are sure you have heard about low ropes, the
Economy game, a daylong hike and the ever popular Predator or Prey game.
We would like to thank not only the students for making this time away so special, but
also to the parents for giving us the opportunity to spend time with your children
outside of the classroom. They are an exceptional group of individuals and it was a joy
to take them on this trip and get to know them better. The trust and bonding that was
built between the students and teaching staff this past week will strengthen our
learning this year.
Schmitelsons class would like to give a special thank you to Mr. Hamby and Mrs. Yu who
took time out of their week away from their families to be with us on this trip.
