ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION is a process which is very useful to human beings in
order to manage well their environment and instill the right behavior that serves as a key
to sustainable development.

RELATED LAWS IN PROMOTING ENVIROMENTAL EDUCATION.
1. Republic act no. 9512 : An act to promote environmental awareness.
- The act shall be known as national environmental awareness and education
act of 2008.
- Section 2 : states that consistent with the policy of the state to protect and
advance the right of the people to a balance and healthful ecology.
2. Republic act no. 9003: January 26 2004
- Is an act providing for an ecological waste management programs.
3. Republic act no. 9275: March 22, 2004
- An act providing for an comprehensive water quality management.
4. Republic act no. 8740 June 23, 1999
- Philippine clean air act of 1999
- An act providing for comprehensive air pollution.
5. Commission on higher education memorandum order no. 33 series of 2009

IMPORTANCE OF ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION
- All major natural resources in the country are in grave danger of irreparable
damage.
- Society cannot survive if its natural resources are rendered.
- Science and technology can help in a limited way.
- Moral and ethical education for changing peoples attitude.
- Protect children living in polluted regions.

CLIMATE CHANGE IN ITS CAUSE AND EFFECTS
- Climate change is any change in climate over time whether due to natural
processes or as a result of human activity.
- The fourth assessment report of the intergovernmental panel on climate
change ( IIPCC,4ar 2007) concludes that climate change is already occurred.
- Man is responsible for the accelerated warming of the earth.
- The warming of the earths atmosphere results to melting.
- The Philippines is rank forth in global climate risk index.




ZERO MANAGEMENT
- Is an ecological method of handling wastes that does not degrade the
environment nor polluted air, water, soil and facilitate their sanitary retrieval
reuse and recycling.
- Modern waste reduction consists of three components REDUCE, REUSE,
RECYCLE

IMPORTANCE
- Does not polluted air, water and soil.
- Facilitates sanitary retrieval, REUSE or RECYCLING.
- Contributes reduction of waste.
- Helps sustain good and friendly environment.
