Fun Facts:

My husband and I will celebrate our fifth

wedding anniversary in July.
I was raised in Georgia. (Go Dawgs!)
I spent every summer in college touring with
acting groups.
I love to sing. I really like oldies and jazz.
Reading is more of a pastime to me than
sports. I read a lot of juvenile fiction to see
what is out there for my students.
I enjoy traveling. I have been to thirty of the
fifty United States.
My favorite color is purple.
Shakespeare and Jane Austen are among my
heroes.
I earned my undergraduate degree in
Secondary Education at Welch College in
Nashville, Tennessee. I taught for four
years in various positions at Lighthouse
Christian School. I am in the process of
completing my Masters Degree at
Trevecca Nazarene University. I am
certified to teach English/ Language Arts
(7-12) and Bible (K-12).
