Dramatic experiences come next to contrived
experiences in the cone of experience.
Do these dramatic experiences require us to be
dramatic in our entrance and in our lesson
presentations?

Dramatic is something that is stirring, affecting
or moving.
Dramatic Entrance is something that catches
and holds attention, and has emotional impacts.

combination of the three.
They offer excellent opportunities to portray
vividly important ideas about life.

An example is a historical pageant that traces
the growth of a school.

through bodily movements.
The effects of pantomime to the audience

people against a background.

Puppets - A puppet is an inanimate object or
representational figure animated or manipulated
by an entertainer, who is called a puppeteer.
Puppets can present ideas with extreme
simplicity.

materials, plan the steps, and rehearse.
During demonstration: sustain the interest of
the audience, keep it simple, check for
understanding, have a summary, and provide
hand-outs (if possible).

Field Trip - A field trip or excursion, is a journey
by a group of people to a place away from their
normal environment.

Plan the entire lesson (of the field trip).
Arrange with school heads the details of the
trip.
Plan then contact the places to visit.
Provide a route plan.
Discuss objectives, procedure, and other
things concerning the lesson with the
students.

Discuss safety measures, and safety
guidelines.
