    Kopi (Coffea spp) adalah spesies tanaman berbentuk pohon dan termasuk dalam famili Rubiaceae dan genus Coffea. Tanaman ini tumbuh tegak, bercabang dan dapat mencapai tinggi 12 m. Tanaman kopi terdiri dari jenis Coffea arabica, Coffea robusta dan Coffea liberica. Tanaman kopi merupakan komoditas ekspor yang mempunyai nilai ekonomis yang relatif tinggi di pasaran dunia, di samping merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan yang dikembangkan di Indonesia. Sudah hampir tiga abad kopi diusahakan penanamannya di Indonesia untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumsi di dalam negeri dan luar negeri.

    Minamas Plantation was established in April 2001 and operates in eight provinces in Indonesia
    (Aceh, Riau, Jambi, South Sumatera, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan
    and Central Sulawesi). As a multinational palm oil producer, we believe in developing
    sustainable futures.
    With more than 250.000 hectares and workforce of over 38,000 employees in Indonesia,
    Minamas Plantation is offering scholarship to nurture young and outstanding Indonesian
    students.
    Service Bond Period
    On completion of their studies, scholars
    will be required to serve Sime Darby
    Group of companies for 2 to 4 years
    depending on the duration and value of
    the award

    of Faculty of Engineering UNDIP.

    Candidate has finished at least 3 (three) semesters
    Possess good personalities and in good health condition and free from any drug substance
    addiction
    Currently not receiving scholarships from any institution or willing to release it upon
    acceptance
    Non academic achievements and involvements in extra-curricular activities or the other
    organizations is an added value
    Willing to follow and comply the whole processes and procedures of the scholarship
