They sham an aura of sanctity, allow people to pro.trate
before them. bless Baba pictures and lockets, bless the people
and lead their followers to belleve that they are stationed on
the 6th plane or are realised "Perfect Masters" and obedience
to them ls imperative. They are going to the extent of telling
their followers that as Meher Dabale Tomb is now inaotive and
as a number of the mandali are dead or gone senile there is no
use going to Meherabad and Meherazad. Where Beloved Baba's
Vhotos adorned'the walls now p1ctures of these gurus are seen!
Sahavas' is now also held by these masters imitating Beloved
Baba but taking great care to see that their atmosphere is
maintained and not superceded by Baba-atmosphere.
Sufism-Reoriented now re-reorlented (in the and
Vedantism-Reoriented (in the Last) are beginning to raise their
heads in dlrect defiance to Beloved Baba's timeless warnings.
Such spiritual jlngoism leads me to recall what Beloved I"leher
Baba had sald to one such master \iho came to Him: -
" or what avail lf you were to gain

Such masters have gone to the extent of ordering their groups to
shun the Last \varning 81 ven by Beloved Avatar Meher Baba in July
1968. Tbe printed leaflets have been destroyed by the orders of
these masters. In the Last Beloved Baba has warned all
who love and follow Him and wotild want to do so as follows! -

It is equally important at this critioal period
of the Avataric Age to beware at all times of
persons who lead others into believing that they
are saintly and pious and profess to possess
supernatural powers. However pious suoh persons
appear to be, a Baba-lover must never mix Buch
piety with the Divinity of the Avatar!
A true Baba-lover must remember the repeated
warning given to all Baba-lovers time and again to
stay away from persons viho feel and assert
thut they are masters and saints and possess
powers to help human beings. His lovers and
workers should never get involved with such
and affairs, much less with perverted
helpers of humani tytl who have no reverence or
regard for the Perfect !lasters and the Avatar 01'
the Age. Beware of them who explol t spir1 tuali ty . .,.
to gain their selfish ends and dupe others in
the name of Sadgurus and the Avatar.

who wish to be helped in loving Him w1th one-pOinted devotion

Dear Ivy, I feel it my bounden duty to draw your attention
to the foregoing statement as it app11es equally to the goings
on in the Western Hemisphere at your end. I presume you know
of it all, and that moet of the things happening at your end
and around;iashington D. C. could not have had your approval as
murshida of Sufism Heoriented apPointed by Meher Baba; I am
sure it could never have gone to this extent had you been more
vigilant. Is it true that things are slipping so much out of
your hands that even if you were to denounce your own creat10n
in Jim Y..ackie many of your mureeds would prefer to leave you
and adhere to Jim? Beloved Baba forbid such a situation after
your h v i n ~ lived for and served selflessly your Lord Avatar
Meher Baba
. ~ v e n now, dear Ivy, it is not too late for you to gather
your flock together under the canopy of. '-Beloved Baba' s Love
and guard Hie sheep from 'Wolves in sheep-skin who break through
to devour His sheep who have been so long in your charge under
Sufism as reoriented by Meher Baba.
