EXERCISE 1: WEB APPLICATION QUALITY ASSURANCE
SPECIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES

General Directions:
Group yourselves into groups of five (5) or six (6) and assign each of your group members with
one research topic from among the following quality assurance areas:

Quality Assurance
A. Functionality Testing
B. Performance Testing
C. Localization Testing
D. Security Testing
E. Usability Testing
Note:
For group/s with six (6) members, the other member should research on the outstanding
characteristics of the prominent web applications which are considered to be the best. And why are
they considered best?

Specifications:
1. A consolidated (A4-sized, arial-11, single-spaced) research paper shall be submitted on the next
laboratory meeting.
2. Contents must be atleast six (6) pages long.
3. First page should be a summary of the work of the each of the members.
4. Following pages must contain the individual outputs.
5. Site references on the last page of the research paper.
6. Do no commit plagiarism.
7. Avoid exaggerated formatting of text, borders, etc.
