I am very interested in this internship position that University Relations is offering.
Out of the countless number of applicants applying for this position, one may
wonder, "What makes Mechala Simpson the perfect person to hire to fill this role."
Well it is not only my forceful working habits or my ability to multitask and still put
out extraordinary work, it is my ambition to be the best inter that University
Relations has ever seen before. Being a Public Relations major at Hampton
University, with the inspiration of soon working in the entertainment business, I feel
that this position is the perfect opportunity to receive a hands on experience of what
I aspire to do once I graduate. Working with a prestigious University who has been
in the media for both positive and negative light, I feel as if this will give me a sense
of how it feels to be a great representative while working under people who do the
job this internship will allow me to do on a daily basis. When I first learned of this
internship from Prof. Dawkins of the Scripps Howard School of Journalism and
Communications, I had to apply because I am so passionate about my future in this
industry.

I feel that I am the right fit for this internship because I am both highly motivated
and eager to learn and grow while taking on this position. My hard work and
determination for success will truly take me far. If you are looking for someone who
does the work assigned half way through, arrives late, and only wants this position
to add to their resume, I am not the right candidate. I will give this internship 210
percent of my time, patience, and effort to make it successful. If you are looking for
someone with those intentions, then there is no need to search any further, because
I, Mechala Simpson will give you my all and much more.

Thank you once again for this amazing experience and I hope to here from someone
soon.

Sincerely,

Mechala Simpson
