long as people dont die. We never stopped slavery; just exported it to sweatshops, never
ended fascism just called it patriotism, and never stopped genocide, just labeled it peace
actions. Other impact frameworks justify the worst forms of bare life by repressing our
desires in the name of life as solely continuing to breathe. Thats a conceded disadvantage
to their value, and a reason why in order to achieve __________(Their Value), we must first
free desire.
3. Within capitalism there is no honor or beauty in human life - death is forgotten fast as
another worker takes your place. We become mortified zombies good for work.
Everything wishes for death because there is nothing to live for but another routine day at
the factory. Thats functionally an impact turn to death within capitalism, meaning theres
no real impact coming out of the negative.
4. Desire, however subjective, is the only metric for a live lived. It is the only measure of
ontological life, the value behind all morality. Morality doesnt matter if we dont have the
will to desire.
Basically, the affirmative asks that instead of understanding death as a singular thing, we
instead reinvest our understanding and complexify our symbolic definition of death,
functionally routing out the so-called little death that invades every decision. The central
position of the AC is that if we dont have a unified symbolic understanding of the symbol
of Death, then we can never have a unified response to it, functionally shutting down the
fear of death that is the ultimate form of fascism and desire redirection.
