WORK FLOW FOR POST TENSIONING WORKS

Fabricate and fix side and bottom


formwork for beam.
Fix soffit form for slab.
By PT
Contractor
Fix bottom rebar and
U links to beam.
Thread P/S Strands into ducts
By Main Contractor
Only slab
Fix top rebar into beams
Install P/T Ducts (Sheath) to required
profile.
Install anchorage at beam ends.
Install bursting reinforcement at anchors.
Fix bottom reinforcement
(Mesh) for slab
Fix top rebar in slab
and beams
Joint checking of reinforcement
and P/T tendons
Install flat ducts for slab
Install flat anchors
Thread in strands
Concreting of
Floor beam &
slab
Curing of the concrete till
achieve grade 25MPA
minimum Crush Tube Test.
Fix anchor/barrel & wedges.
First, stress slab tendons,
then stress beam tendons.
Remove beam end form,
slab side form.
After approval of stressing record,
cut off stressing length &
grout up anchor point.
Prepare and submit stressing
record to Engineer
for approval.
Remove soffit forms and
prop if required
by the Engineer.
Patch up all
anchor recesses.
Grout up tendons (Within
3 weeks from stressing)
