I like the idea of using the word diverse as

my masthead because it symbolises being
different as well as varied so it would imply
my magazine wasnt just the average
magazine as well as saying that it contains a
range of information and covers different
genres of music.
Divergence

I like the idea of using the word
divergence as my masthead
because it would symbolise that
my magazine was created in the
aim of containing different styles
of music for different people in a
diverse society.
Offbeat
The word offbeat has two alternative meanings, one meaning differing
from the usual or expected and being unconventional with the other
meaning being an unaccented beat of a measure in music. This links to my
magazine as I plan to cover more than one genre of music so in this case it
will be unconventional or offbeat and then it is obviously a music
magazine as the other definition links with beats in music.
