The aim of this report is to present the activity of the entertainment committee over the

past year. We organized three major events for the students in the university campus one of
them which was a great success.
First of all, in March we organized the Theatre Trip. The play was very funny but we did not
manage to gather many people because of the price of transportation. Moreover, we lost
money on this event because the money from the tickets did not cover the travel expenses
which were pre-paid. If we were to manage the same event again we would spend more
money on advertising.
Secondly, during the summer we organized other two events. The Music Evening in June
was a great success. It involved numerous talented local bands which made a great
atmosphere enjoyed by all the people present at the event. We managed to sell all the
tickets and make a huge profit that would cover for the unsuccessful event in March. We
also organized the annual party in August. The people who came filled the entire main hall
which became very crowded. The food was enjoyed by most of the students. Even though
we didnt make too much profit, we raised awareness for our events and we hope to sell
more tickets in the future.
I feel it would be to our advantage if we focused more on advertising because most of the
students are not informed of our events and most of them find out when is too late.
In conclusion, the last year was a success because we were able to engage many people in
our events and make profit. This year we will repeat the same events and try to make them
more successful.
