Brian Mullally was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, a form of cancer
that is composed of mutated epithelial cells that originate in the bile ducts which drain bile from the liver into the small intestine.
Cholangiocarcinoma is a relatively rare, incurable and rapidly lethal malignant neoplasm. It has an annual incidence rate of 1-2 cases per 100,000 in Western world.
Since June 2013 he has undergone 3 major surgeries, removing over 50% of his liver. He has completed 2 rounds of chemotherapy and 1 round of radiation.
Dr. Mullally served this community over 15 years before relocating his family to Florida in the summer of 2008 but has recently moved back to Michigan to spend more quality time with family and close friends.
A surprise benefit is being planned for Saturday, 11-08-2014. Please log onto our event website for location details: www.grankermessorpresa.weebly.com
