Critical Care Technician
As an ERT, I assist with admission, discharge, care, and transport of patients, charting,
data collection, vital signs, oxygen therapy, cardiac monitoring, IVs, EKGs, critical care
situations (traumas), emergency resuscitation, setting-up and assisting with line
insertion and retrieval of supplies, stocking, catheter insertion, splinting, dressings,
suture set ups and many other procedures within our scope of practice and as directed
by RN or Physician. As Technicians, we collaborate and consult with RN and other
members of the interdisciplinary team for best patient care.

I worked as a chiropractor Assistant for Doctor Labrum. I handled customer service,
scheduling and patient care.

Although not a direct healthcare organization, I handled stressful situations, learned
prioritization, critical thinking, decision making, and multitasking.
Dixie College 1994-1999
Food Service and catering. Although not health related, I learned the importance of
customer relations, training new employees, delegation, loyalty to my job, and safety.
Full time LDS Mission Chicago Illinois Feb 1996-Aug 1997
During these 18 months I learned the importance of team work, time management,
organization, goal-setting, hard work, perseverance, caring and service.
