An Environmental Camp

I am an active member of a new non-governmental organisation in

my town, called Friends of Earth. Recently, this organisation
organised an environmental camp for secondary school students in my
district. I have been asked to write a report for a montly bulletin
produced by Friends of Earth.
Firstly, this camp details are the date was from 27 to 30 April 2014.
Then, the venue was at Rimba Bay, Purnama Island. Next, the
participants were 100 students. After that, the accommodation was at
dormitory. It was a big and spacious/comfortable place. So we enjoyed
our stay. The trainers were committee members of Friends of
Earth.They were very helpful.
The next detail is on activities held at the camp. The activities were
we watched video on environmental issues.Hence, we learnt a lot of
new information. Then, we went for beach clearing. We collected
rubbish and others. After that, we made a handicrafts from recycled
items. It was wonderful experience. Lastly, we went for bird watching.
We managed to see different species of birds. It was an outstanding
experience.
The last detail were messages to participants. The messages to
participants are the mother of the nature was dying because of the
polluted world. Then, the conservation is important because we should
play our roles effectively. We should stop pollution and recycle. Next,
they gave an information about the environmental camp to all
participants.
In conclusion, the environmental camp was successful and
hopefully the programme will be held every year as an annual event.
