Red Ribbon Week

October 27th-31st
What is Red Ribbon Week?
Red Ribbon Week is a week
dedicated to a drug free
lifestyle.
Millions of students across
the nation are celebrating
this week. Red Ribbon Week
is the oldest and largest drug
prevention program. It has
been going since 1985!
We want to be safe, healthy,
and drug free, this week and
always!
How did it get started?
In 1985, Drug Enforcement
Administration officer Kiki
Camarena was killed by drug
traffickers in Mexico City. He
had been working undercover
to keep illegal drugs away!
After his death, the Red
