Create the Office of Multicultural Services to provide systems and program designed to
inculcate minority students into the life of the university. The office will also develop
communication tools for promoting events and programs and fostering a sense of
community for all students. Additionally, the office will design curricular offerings which
can be added to existing courses in order to ensure culturally relevant course design.

Establish a Parents Program through the Office of Student Services to communicate with

advising and counseling process for all students. Mentoring and AVID programs will be
created and managed through the office.

programs. These programs include pedagogical support and continued education as well
as cultural inclusion programming.

Through the Office of Retention, establish courses designed to provide course credit and
to increase persistence. The office will also establish a protocol for paced interventions
when testing or faculty referrals indicate their need.
