Dr. Willey Dobbs
Twin Falls School District
201 Main Ave W
Twin Falls, ID 83301

Dear Dr. Dobbs,
I am pleased to have the opportunity to apply for the current Elementary School Teacher position
that is available. I have obtained my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education through Idaho State
University and have obtained my Idaho teaching license. Because of my great education, I have had
so many opportunities to be involved in the schools in Twin Falls and job shadow some of the greatest
and inspiring educators.
As outlined in my resume, I have had the opportunity to be a Guest Teacher for the Twin Falls School
District. This has helped me to get into the classrooms and really learn and see what it is like to teach
young children. It has been one of the greatest experiences for me as an aspiring teacher. Guest
teaching has provided me with a chance to challenge the young minds of the students and get them
excited about learning. As a result of this position, it has helped me to perfect my teaching techniques
and my classroom management skills. Teaching in the classroom has also allowed me to create
effective lesson plans, create unique and fun activities, and motivate the students to want to do their
best in school and in life.
Some of my strengths include being able to connect with my students and provide them with an
education that is life-long. I make learning fun by providing creative and fun learning experiences
through activities and hands on learning. While creating my lesson plans, I always take into account
the students interests and cognitive thinking levels. By doing so, I have found great success by the
students. They are more interested in the topic, can focus their energy on the lesson, and can
demonstrate proficiency in assessments.
Thank you for your time and consideration for the Elementary School Teacher position. I look forward
to hearing from you so that we can discuss further how I can make impact on the students in the
classroom setting.

Respectfully yours,
Mrs. Arika Costa
