Asia Children Charity is a seven-year old organization that aims to
alleviate the poverty and other social problems which tend to downgrade the
possible opportunities of having a better life for every child. They ofer
educational scholarships and other programs involving building a better and
greater community. And in line with the blossoming opportunities for ACC to
ful!ll its goals the President of ACC "r. #ong $u Kim has decided to involve
young leaders from the member countries in the operation of the
organization to further strengthen the organization%s foundation. &n this
regard the !rst ACC $lobal 'eadership Program was held last August and &
was privileged to be sent to Korea to represent the Philippine chapter of Asia
Children Charity for a wee( of global leadership program together with the
delegates from other si) countries namely Korea "ongolia &ndonesia
Thailand *ietnam and Kyrgyzstan.
"y e)perience in that leadership program e)ceeds every e)pectation &
have in mind before & left the Philippines. An ordinary convention which &
thought turned out to be an awesome and more worth remembering
e)perience. & was able to hear lectures from well-(nown professors
businessmen announcer +anchor, chief e)ecutive o-cers and inspirational
leaders of Korea. &t even amused and amazed me to be seating in one
table.room with the C/0%s of diferent big companies in Korea li(e Korean
/)press 1T2 2ews and K-3ater. & was amazed by the very advanced
technology they have and the (ind of discipline that the government has
imposed upon the citizens. As & have observed with the Korean
Aside from the things & have learned with regard to the dos and don%ts
in leadership there is one thing & will be forever than(ful with that
convention and that is being able to be with my fellow delegates. At !rst my
