Daily writing #4
My favorite childhood author was Gary Paulson. I liked most of his books because he
wrote about the wilderness. My favorite series was the Brian series. These books caught my
interest because they are about this kid that had to survive in the wild alone with only a
hatchet. I could visualize the story well and they interested me very much. I like the woods; the
thrill of being stuck there and having to survive alone kept my interest, and he was around the
same age as I was at the time.
